Shifting Ground Collective is seeking excellent vocalists with versatility across radio and pop styles for Postmodern Broadway 2. Performers should have a charismatic stage presence, be comfortable with tight harmonies and vocal improvisation, and learn music quickly.

Shifting Ground Collective works to support the next generation of Toronto’s musical theatre scene. We seek self-identified early-career artists for our presentations.

ABOUT THE SHOW
Inspired by the popular Postmodern Jukebox, Shifting Ground’s Postmodern Broadway concert series takes beloved musical theatre songs and reimagines them as radio jazz and pop tunes, flipping the script on the music that theatre fans know and love.

PROJECT DETAILS
The performance will take place at the Rivoli on Sunday, December 6th.

Rehearsals will take place on Tuesday November 10th and 17th from 5:30-10:30, and Saturday November 14th, 21st, and 28th from 10am-4pm. Our sitzprobe will be scheduled sometime between December 2nd-5th, pending artist availabilities. The total time commitment for performers inclusive of the performance call will be approximately 30 hours.

Performers will be compensated with an honorarium of $250.
